Board of Public Education to Hold Budget Hearings for Fiscal Year 27

The Board of Public Education for the City of Savannah and the County of Chatham will hold two public hearings on its proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The hearings will be held in the Jessie Collier DeLoach Board Room at the Whitney Administrative Complex, 2 Laura Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31404. All citizens and employees are invited to attend and provide the Board with oral comments concerning the proposed budget. Please call the Board Office at 912-395-5534 or email Tamika.Edwards@sccpss.com no later than 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, or 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, if you would like to be included on the agenda to provide comments.
