Books, Blankets, and Family Fun!
The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System wants to empower every child to become a proficient reader and live a choice-filled life!
We hope to see your family at our annual Books, Blankets & Family Fun event to celebrate reading, literacy, and STEAM education in Daffin Park (1500 E. Victory Drive) on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be reading activities, vendor booths, music and games, guest readers, student performances, speakers, and the always-popular Teddy Bear Clinic. The event is free – and there will be food trucks on site if you would like to buy lunch or snacks. It’s fun for everyone! Spread out your blanket and enjoy the day!
