SCCPSS is pleased to share information about community-sponsored back-to-school events taking place throughout Chatham County. This information is provided solely as a community resource for families.
Please note that these events are organized, managed, and funded by independent community agencies, nonprofits, churches, businesses, and other organizations—not by SCCPSS. Event participation requirements, registration procedures, available supplies, eligibility guidelines, and event details may vary. Families are encouraged to contact the sponsoring organization directly for the most current information and assistance.

July 19 - 19th Annual Ready! Set! Go! Back To School Event
2:00 – 5:00 P.M.
Come to Cann Park to celebrate with community organizations, businesses and churches to meet the needs of our community. Amerigroup's Ready Set Go! Back To School Giveaway is FREE and Open to the Public so come out and grab supplies!
Enjoy music, family, and fun! Bookbags, binders, hygiene kits, and more that will be distributed while supplies last. Child and parent must be present to receive supplies. Free ice cream to the first 500 kids!
