SCCPSS Shifts to Four Day Work Week Over the Summer Months
In order to maximize energy conservation, prioritize fiscal responsibility, and provide staff with ways to enhance wellness and flexibility over the summer, SCCPSS will implement a 4-day work schedule in June and July utilizing a 10-hour workday during this period. During this time, all district buildings will be closed on Fridays. The week of Juneteenth will be an exception, as June 19 is recognized as a holiday.
The four-day work week schedule applies to the following weeks:
• Monday, June 2, 2025, through Friday, June 6, 2025
• Monday, June 9, 2025, through Friday, June 13, 2025
• Monday, June 23, 2025, through Friday, June 27, 2025
• Monday, July 7, 2025, through Friday, July 11, 2025
**July 1-4 is a District closure in observance of the July 4 Holiday.
