The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System will hold a Public Sale of Miscellaneous School Furniture and Equipment on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the following location:

Former Mercer Middle School site located at 201 Rommel Avenue, Garden City, GA 31408

• An inventory list is not available but examples of items to be sold are chairs, desks. filing cabinets, carts and computer tables.

EQUIPMENT REMOVAL: Buyers will be responsible for the removal and transportation of all items purchased All items must be paid for in cash or using a debit/credit card and must be removed from the District property on Friday, May 1, 2026, by 3:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 2, 2026, by 3:00 p.m. Items not removed from District Property within this time frame will render the sale null and void. The District shall then have the authority to resell, remove or dispose of this equipment by other means.

WARRANTIES AND/OR REPRESENTATIONS: It is the responsibility of the Buyer to inspect the items offered. The District makes no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, as to the operational or physical condition of the items offered or fitness for a particular purpose or for use in general. The responsibility as to the condition of the property rests solely on the Buyer.

Under no circumstances will a refund or adjustment be made on account of property failing to meet the buyer's expectations.

Sale is "AS IS - WHERE IS" without warranty and on a "FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS". There is no guarantee or warranty on the part of the District as to the condition or quality; or that the property offered, or a portion thereof, may not be withdrawn prior to the sale. No service of any kind will be furnished by the District, and any cost of removing equipment from the site shall be assumed by the buyer.

ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY: The Buyer shall assume all liability for the property after award is made. The District will exercise its usual care for protection up to the time of removal but will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
