​​​​​The Massie Heritage Center is open to the general public 7-days a week throughout the year (except for major holidays). Each of our galleries are self-guided and have interactive opportunities as well as information about Savannah's history and culture.  Visitors and locals, children and adults will find Massie a worthwhile destination. Please stop by for a tour!

We are located on the corner of Abercorn and East Gordon Streets in Historic Downtown Savannah, overlooking Calhoun Square


Hours:
Monday – Saturday: 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday: 12 noon – 4 pm
Closed: St. Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
 

General Museum Admission:
    Adults:  $9.00
    Senior 63+ / Military:  $7.00
    Youth ages 5 – 17:  $6.00
    Children age 4 and under:  FREE
    Family Rate (up to 4 people):  $20.00
    Members of Friends of Massie – FREE
    SCCPSS Educators (with employee ID) – FREE


 Group Museum Rates (10+ people)
    Adult Group:  $7.00 per person
    Senior Group:  $6.00 per person

Youth and Adult Programs:
Our Heritage Educators offer a wide variety of programs for youth and adults, catering to schools and homeschools, Girl Scouts and other youth organizations, adult and senior interest groups, and more. For information, visit our Learn page​ or call us at (912) 395-5070 to book your program.  All programs must be pre-booked.  All walking programs follow the City of Savannah's Tour Service Ordinances.  All indoor programs follow SCCPSS health, safety, and COVID – guidelines. 

 
Parking:
There is metered and unmetered parking on nearby Abercorn, Gordon, Lincoln, Wayne, and Taylor Streets.  Handicapped parking and ADA access is available on the west side of the building, on Abercorn Street. 

School Buses and Motor Coaches:
School Buses are permitted to temporarily drop-off and pick-up students and teachers in front of Massie on Gordon Street. School buses must park in designated locations downtown. See the City of Savannah's School Bus Parking Area map for details.

Motor Coaches are required by the City of Savannah to follow permitting, traveling and parking guidelines. For current details, visit the City's Mobility & Parking Services website.  The closest motor coach drop-off/pick-up location to Massie is located on Lincoln Street between Taylor and Wayne Streets.
