CONGRATULATIONS to our very own 7th grade Mercer Raider Scholar, Emma Ramirez-Ramirez, for winning 2ND PLACE at the 2023 Savannah-Chatham County Spelling Bee Competition on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Savannah State University – Student Union Building! Our scholar competed against 32 scholars from other schools across our school district and displayed TRUE RAIDER P.R.I.D.E. throughout the entire competition! Our 7th grade scholar, Emma Ramirez-Ramirez, will advance to the 2023 Regional Spelling Bee which will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Georgia Southern University – Armstrong University Campus. The time and additional details are forthcoming.
